Celebrating La Muerte Festival of Michtlantecuhtli and Mictlancihuatl
For hundreds of years, since the time of the Aztecs, the tiny town of Mixquic, south east of Mexico City, has run the Church Bells on November 1st at 12:43 to welcome back their ancestors to honour their lineage and celebrate them with flowers, incense and their favourite foods.
This Pilgrimage was a peak, life changing experience last year. All who attended Sergio’s Pilgrimage were profoundly affected by the opportunity to call in their ancestors and offer healings going back many generations. Our consciousness around Death and Dying was further explored with trips to other ancient sites to learn the different ways our Spirit can exit the body at the moment we transition into another reality. The Pixar movie “Coco” is making the world aware of the power and magic of Mexico’s celebration of “The Day of the Dead”
This adventure will change your life by bringing new understanding to the process of Death by transforming it from something to be feared into something to be celebrated. You will discover the importance of having a conscious Death leading you to becoming a joyful and enlightened Spiritual Warrior!
The Nahual tradition regards death as a companion of life. Life and death are both embodied by the Goddess of Life and Death Coatlicue, whose head is formed by two serpents symbolizing the meeting of life and death, which complement each other and are only separated by the illusion of time.
A few words of introduction to those of you, who have never experienced Sergio’s teachings personally, in “Caves of Power”, his third book, Sergio shares powerful practices of healing, rejuvenation, manifestation and enlightenment which include Toltec/Aztec Calendar numerology, astral surgery, dreaming and manifestation.
Sergio’s work unveils secrets of this powerful ancient knowledge before taught only from master to student and not available in writing. Sergio is dedicated to bringing knowledge and healing to our key issues such as emotions, health, abundance and the quest for enlightenment.
October 31st – Arrival
Arrival. Welcome dinner Mexico City.
November 1st – Mexico City
Learn how to build an Altar in the ancient Aztec and Toltec way for the healing of your ancestors, building a collective Altar for our Group.
November 1st – Evening – Mixquic
On night of November 1st we will visit magical Mixquic, the world-famous place for the feast of the dead, where the people have celebrated since the Aztec times.
San Andres Mixquic is best known for its Day of the Dead commemorations, which consist of both ritual and cultural events lasting from October 31st to November 2nd. These events draw thousands of Mexican and international visitors, and culminate in the Alumbrada, when the cemetery that surrounds the community’s main church glows with thousands of candles and smoke from incense the evening of November 2nd.
November 2nd – Morning – Mexico City
Sergio will teach and conduct the mystical Ancestral Healing Therapy and Ceremony for the ancestors and us, the participants. This ceremony is performed with the serpent powder to heal four generations back in time.
November 2nd – Evening – Mixquic
Revisit Mixquic – participate in the Alumbrada, the ceremony to say goodbye to the ancestors visiting at this time. This is the time when the cemetery that surrounds the community’s main church glows with thousands of candles and smoke from incense the evening of November 2nd.
November 3th – Morning – Mexico City
We will be moving to Teotihuacan, the Casa de la Suenos (The Dreaming House) after breakfast.
November 3th – Afternoon – the Casa de la Suenos (The Dreaming House)
In the afternoon we will go to the sacred cave In Teotihuacan to perform the Seven Caves of Power in the waking state to open our perception, meet the feathered jaquar, serpent, coyote and reach Chicomoztoc, the Cave of Power. You will master your own cave (the shadow, darkness).
November 4th – Xochitecatl
We will visit Xochitecatl, the place of Xoltzcuintli, the keeper of all Underworlds. We will have an opportunity to heal all our previous unconscious deaths, redeeming all old winds (karma).
The name xōlōitzcuintli comes from the god Xolotl and itzcuīntli meaning dog in Nahuatl.
Archaeological evidence has been found in the tombs of the Colima, Mayan, Toltec, Zapotec, and Aztec Indians dating the breed of dog, Xolo, to over 3500 years ago. Long regarded as guardians and protectors, the indigenous peoples believed that the Xolo would safeguard the home from evil spirits as well as intruders. Xolos were considered sacred dogs by the Aztecs, Toltecs, Maya, and other groups.
November 5th – Cacaxtla – Death of the Warriors
Practicing how to die by departing from the chest – blending and uniting with the Tonatiuch, the Sun. Exiting the body via the heart – it is the death through the chest that leads us to the Sun to become one with the Sun or to come back like a hummingbird or a butterfly. To achieve this we should have cleansed our entire energy body, all our chakras ( totonalcayos).
November 6th – Teotihuacan
We will learn the process of dying and dreaming by ascending from the third Eye. The third Eye is considered a portal to the Pleiades and Sirius, which are places of enlightenment, knowledge and beauty. It is here that you become an angel or enlightened being.
We will visit Aletitla, Tlalochcan, the residence of Tlaloc – essence ruling the water. Here we will learn how to experience paradise in our current incarnation.
We will return to the Casa de la Suenios for teachings of the activation of Crystal Skulls.
November 7th – Cholula
We will go to Cholula, the Ancient School of Dreaming and Dying for Spiritual Warriors, where the warriors learned how to die in an enlightened way. Chicomostoc – the activation of the chambers of power in the Pyramid of Cholula.
We will learn how to die in the highest way of the Nahual by departing from the crown chakra. Exiting the body via the crown of the head (Tecpatl) means achieving a permanent individuality. This may perhaps be akin to the western equivalent of becoming a Buddha or an Avatar.
Evening – activation of the ancient Toltec Crystal Skulls.
November 8th – Departure
Breakfast in the Casa de la Suenos. Then back to Mexico City.
This will be the end of the retreat.

Psychic surgery is a procedure used by ancient shamanic traditions such as those that have developed in the Andes and various parts of Mexico.
Can shamanic alchemy work not only on healing but also on the rejuvenation of the body?
Is it possible not only to slow down the aging process, but to reverse it?
